These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made through happinessbyb.com (the “Website”). The Website and its digital products are operated by “HappinessByB” .
By using the Website or purchasing a product, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website or purchase our products.
1. Our products
HappinessByB sells digital download patterns and related tutorials for beading and macrame designs. Products are supplied as digital files, such as PDF documents, unless the product description states otherwise.
Digital patterns may include instructions, diagrams, photographs, materials lists, and other design information. Please read the product description carefully before purchasing to make sure the pattern is suitable for your experience level and intended project.
2. Orders and guest checkout
You may purchase products without creating a customer account. You are responsible for providing accurate information during checkout, including your email address if one is requested by the payment or checkout service.
An order is accepted when we confirm the purchase and make the digital product available for download, subject to payment being successfully processed.
3. Digital delivery and download-link validity
After successful payment, a download link or digital file will be provided using the delivery method shown at checkout or in the order confirmation.
Unless stated otherwise at checkout, the download link for a purchased pattern is valid for 48 hours from the time it is issued. Please download and save your purchased file within that period.
If the link expires before you have downloaded the file, please use the Website’s Message option to contact us. We may review the order and, where appropriate, provide a replacement or renewed download link.
You are responsible for having a suitable device, PDF reader, internet connection, and software needed to open or print the file. We are not responsible for problems caused by your device, software, internet connection, spam filter, payment service, or incorrect checkout information.
Please keep a backup of your purchased files for your personal use.
4. No refunds for digital downloads
Because digital products can be accessed and copied immediately, purchases of digital download patterns are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
If a file is corrupt, incomplete, materially different from its description, or cannot reasonably be accessed because of a problem on our side, please contact us through the Website’s Message option so we can investigate and, where appropriate, provide a replacement file or another suitable remedy.
5. Personal licence and copyright
When you purchase a pattern, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the pattern for your own personal crafting purposes.
The pattern, PDF, written instructions, diagrams, photographs, layout, and other content remain the intellectual property of HappinessByB or its licensors. Purchasing a pattern does not transfer copyright or ownership to you.
You must not:
- Share, forward, email, upload, publish, or distribute the PDF or any part of it to another person;
- Resell, sublicense, rent, give away, or commercially redistribute the PDF;
- Upload the PDF to file-sharing websites, social media, forums, groups, cloud folders accessible to others, or other public or shared locations;
- Copy, reproduce, translate, modify, adapt, or create derivative versions of the pattern for distribution or sale without our written permission;
- Remove copyright notices, branding, or other ownership information; or
- Use the pattern to create a competing pattern, tutorial, or digital product.
You may print a copy for your own personal use. You may not use one purchased copy as a shared copy for a group, class, workshop, business, or other organisation without written permission from HappinessByB.
6. Finished items made from our patterns
You may make finished physical items using a purchased HappinessByB pattern and sell those finished items in small-scale quantities only.
Mass production, factory production, wholesale production, licensing the design to another person or business, and selling large quantities of finished items are not permitted without our prior written permission.
When possible, please credit the design as follows:

A credit is especially appreciated when you display or sell a finished item online, at a market, or through social media. Credit does not replace the requirement to purchase your own copy of the pattern and does not permit sharing the PDF.
If you intend to produce finished items commercially beyond small-scale quantities, please contact us through the Website’s Message option to discuss written permission or a separate commercial licence.
7. User obligations
When using the Website, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information;
- Use the Website and products lawfully;
- Respect our intellectual property and the rights of other users;
- Keep download links and purchased files secure;
- Not interfere with the Website or attempt to gain unauthorised access; and
- Not use our products or Website to infringe another person’s rights.
8. Pattern results and project responsibility
Crafting results may vary depending on materials, tools, tension, measurements, technique, experience, and individual interpretation of the instructions.
You are responsible for choosing appropriate materials and working safely. We do not guarantee that every finished project will look exactly like the example shown or that a pattern will be suitable for every user or purpose.
If a project involves sharp tools, adhesives, dyes, heat, chemicals, or other potentially hazardous materials, follow the manufacturer’s safety instructions and use appropriate protection.
9. Website content and availability
We try to keep the Website, product descriptions, prices, images, and download files accurate and available. However, errors, interruptions, maintenance, or temporary unavailability may occur.
We may correct errors, update content, change product information, or discontinue a product at any time. Changes will not affect a completed purchase except where required by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HappinessByB will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or unforeseeable loss arising from your use of the Website, inability to access a product, or use of a pattern.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability for a claim relating to a specific digital product will not exceed the amount you paid for that product.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including liability for fraud, intentional wrongdoing, or rights that consumers have under mandatory applicable law.
11. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to reimburse HappinessByB for reasonable losses, claims, liabilities, and expenses arising from your unlawful use of the Website, misuse or unauthorised distribution of our products, or violation of these Terms or another person’s rights.
12. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. The invalid or unenforceable provision will be adjusted only as much as necessary to make it enforceable, where permitted by law.
13. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Website’s product descriptions and Privacy Policy, form the agreement between you and HappinessByB concerning your use of the Website and purchase of our digital products, unless a separate written agreement applies.
