Hi, my name is Burcu and I'm the founder and creative behind happinessByB.

I was born and raised in Turkiye. I studied architecture and worked in the field for 15 years in several countries.

After moving to Germany in 2018, I decided to stay home and start my own business. I have always been interested in arts and crafts, and I love working with my hands. I started making macramé items in 2020 to add some handmade touches to my home. It quickly became a passion of mine and I love creating new pieces and seeing how they come to life. I love the way you can create beautiful patterns and designs with simple knots.

I use high quality, 100% recycled cotton rope in all my pieces. I use both natural and vivid colours in my works. I often dye my own ropes to achieve the perfect hue. I sell my macramé creations online and at craft fairs, and I also make PDF tutorials and share some of my creations on YouTube so that others can enjoy this beautiful art form.
